Next was Port San Luis, a long beach with a long pier. Alongside the pier was a float covered with sea lions. The sound & the smell were invigorating, to say the least. We stopped at a funky Mexican outdoor cafe called Pete's at the Pier, and I was talked into eating a whole fish!

Had a great day yesterday driving along the coast. It was about 70 degrees -- feeling sorry for all our family & friends enduring the cold!
